There are about 9 types of bet available in Roulette but choosing the right is the key factor to win. There are two main roulette betting tricks that works 70% of the time.

Each table describes clearly the maximum and minimum amount of bets on a placard.
“Roulette Table: $1 minimum bets, $1000 maximum bets”. It means you can bet at least a dollar or at most $1000 on a single bet.” Most of the casinos set limits on table as they fear losing large amount of money in a single chance.

All casinos do not have the same instructions. They vary from one place to other. “Table: $ 1000 max outside, $500 max inside, $1 max inside, $1 min inside”. As some bets like “Straight-Up”, “Trio”, “Split”, etc. offers high payout, the inside bets usually set a max amount.

Playing an outside bet differs from the inside bets. Betting $10 on inside bets means you can split you chips and make different bets like $1 on straight-up, $2 on Column, $4 on Split and $3 on Trio whereas for outside ones you cannot split the bets, you can make only one.

1.Betting on Two Rows and 4 Numbers

This method will let you bet on seventeen numbers in total. First, player would be betting on six numbers and the chip is placed half inside, half outside as well as it is covering the two rows.
Player would bet 6 chips per rotation. Out of 6, two would be placed on each of Two Rows and one on the Four Numbers plus a straight up number.

Six Number bet in Roulette

7,8,9,10,11 and12 (1st Two Rows) – Two chips would be placed here.

22,23,24,25 and 26 (2nd Two Rows)-Two chips would be placed here.

11, 12, 14 and 15 (4 Numbers) – One chip would be placed here.

One chip for the straight up bet on any number of your choice. I generally take 4 as it is my favorite.

Payout:

Two Rows

Betting on two rows pays 5 to 1. You would have 10 chips if you win as you have placed 2 chips on it. So, you have won 10 chips. You had placed 6 chips at the beginning of the game. 4 chips are lost, 1 on Straight Up, 1 on Four Numbers, 2 on another Two Rows.

10-4=6 chips you have won if the ball lands on any of the Two Rows.

Four Numbers (Corner)

You have placed only one chip on the Corner and it pays 8 to 1. You would lose 5 chips (4 on Six Line Numbers and 1 on Straight Up).

corner in roulette

8-5= 3 chips profit.

Straight Up

This is indeed a Jackpot. Placing a chip on it would give you 35 chips in return. You will lose the other 5 chips and collect 30 chips in total.

Five Corner Trick

You are placing single chip on five corners plus one chip on any straight up number.

2, 3, 5 and 6

7, 8, 10 and 11

14, 15, 17 and 18

19, 20, 22 and 23

26, 27, 29 and 30

I go with 4 when it comes to Straight Up bets.
A player is covering 21 numbers in total.

Payout

Winning on any Corner pays 8 to 1. You will lose the other 5 chips but there will be a profit of three chips.

Getting a Straight Up would pay 35 to 1. There are only five chips lost and you will receive 30 chips in return.

You will not be a millionaire as you are earning small profit every time. If you want to boost the payout you can add a chip or two on Corners and Six numbers. You can experiment yourself by little varying of what I have told above. These are the basic strategies and are designed to soar up your time on table.

Placing them accordingly you want is what you have to do to play on your bets. The design of the Roulette might make you uncomfortable to reach to some of the areas on table. If you do not know how to make the outside and inside bet, than ask the dealer to make it for you or check the info mentioned below.

Outside Bets

Black or Red:

There are 36 numbers. 18 are black and 18 are Red. Both have even money payout as on winning, winner would keep the wager he has bet.

Even or Odd:

Player can bet either on Odd Numbers or Even Numbers. Color of the number does not matter. It also has even money payout.

1-18, 19-36

– even money bet. You will win the same amount as the wager if the ball comes to halt either on the first 18 numbers or on the last 18 numbers.

Casinos have their extra edge on “0” and “00”. If they are the outcome all bets would turn into loss.

On European wheel, bets are not lost. Player do not lose his wager if a “0” shows up. The result depends entirely on the next spin. If he wins the next spin, the lost bet would be released. Otherwise, it is permanently lost. European wheels in U.S are rare to seek.

Dozens:

Betting on set of twelve numbers. 1-12, 13-24, 25-36 are known as Dozens.

Columns:

There are 12 columns in total, 1 to 3, 4 to 6 and so on. It pays 2 to 1.

Inside Bets

Playing inside bets has more risk than the outside bets.

One Number

-There are 0 and 00 on American wheel having an attractive payout of 35 to 1. It has only 2.63% chances of winning. Odds are stacked against you.

Split:

17 to 1 payout. Player can bet on two numbers. Place a chip on the line between the two numbers.

Street:

Place wager on three consecutive numbers. It pays 11 to 1. It is advisable to bet in Street rather than Split or Straight up as it has 7.89% chances of winning.

Corner:

As already discussed above. Betting on 4 numbers. Pays 8 to 1 (e.g. 2-3-5-6, 1-2-4-5, 4-5-7-8 and so on). 10.52% chances of winning.

Five-number:

Place wager on the line that separates the inside and outside bets. It has only 1 combination i.e. 0-00-1-2-3. This has 13.15% chances of winning but I have rarely seen anybody winning Five Numbers. It pays 6 to 1.

Six Numbers:

Place chip such that it is half inside, half outside covering two rows shown above. It pays 5 to 1.
